Right then. Let's start off with Mage Knight, my first minis game. I played this one in tournaments back when I lived in SoCal, and did fairly well. I managed to grab the odd Limited Edition prize here and there. Then they "made it better", and it sucked. I'm one of many, many MK players who quit the game entirely when version 2.0 came out. Ironically, I liked the actual minis for the new version better than the old style... ah well.
Today, I have a nearly-complete collection of the Ral Partha metal versions, plus most of the plastics. I only have one of each sculpt, since this keeps me from going crazy buying cheap singles online. I've rebased everything onto 1.5" bases, so that the minis can be used with stat cards rather than clicky bases. Later, I'll list my dozen reasons why I prefer stat cards.
Starting out with my favorite faction, the Draconum. Dragons are in my top three favorite fantasy critters (elves and vampires being the other two), so a whole faction of Dragon-Men is awesome sauce.
Here's the group shot:
Oh, and I forgot to mention... I'm a horrible photographer and my camera is woefully inadequate for taking these shots...
I'll post individual shots shortly, with an upgraded camera (I hope). Not pictured here are my unpainted metals: Arcane (primed and ready) and Mortis (built but not primed).
